The parts that tightly connect mechanical equipment
2023-11-09
A nut is a part that tightly connects mechanical equipment. Through the inner thread, nuts and bolts of the same specification can be connected together. For example, a nut of M4-P0.7 can only be connected with bolts of the M4-P0.7 series (in a nut, M4 indicates that the inner diameter of the nut is approximately 4mm, and 0.7 indicates that the distance between two thread teeth is 0.7mm). The same is true for American-made products. For example, a 1/4-20 nut can only be matched with a 1/4-20 screw (1/4 means the inner diameter of the nut is approximately 0.25 inches, and 20 means there are 20 threads per inch).
The DISC-LOCK anti-loosening nut is composed of two parts, each of which has interlaced cams. Due to the internal wedge design with a slope Angle greater than the nut Angle of the bolt, this combination tightly interlocks into a whole. When vibration occurs, the protruding parts of the DISC-LOCK anti-loosening nut move against each other, generating lifting tension, thereby achieving a good anti-loosening effect.
